1. Newsflash (Don, Larry)
• Don Strand will update the News box on OERC.Merlot.org homepage with the link to the latest issue of the INCTR newsflash each month(Don and Gerry)
• Larry will send Julie a list of newly contributed materials of good quality on the OERC Portal (URLs and Title of each document) to be included in the INCTR Newsflash on monthly basis
2. Subscribers/contributors (Larry)
• Larry sent letters to the Advisory Committee members. He’s waiting for feed-back.
3. Funding opportunities (Anil)
• Parvathi has posted information on Global Giving
• Anil will keep us informed about his initiatives to approach the National Library of Medicine, the US Department of Education, OER in Health, etc… see : http://oerc.wikidot.com/funding-120809
• World Bank: Need to find a champion inside the organization. Possibility to organize a video conference (co)-sponsored by INCTR on the need to build capacity for cancer control in developing countries. Need to decide upon the format, contents and speakers and who would pay for the costs. Parvathi has posted a note on the wiki about the

5. TVRC - TeleHealth Video Resource Center (Anil, Cedric) see http://oerc.wikidot.com/tvrc
• Anil will meet with his relevant contacts for TVCR to see if INCTR could partner with them and report back to us.
• Need to organize a video conference by ourselves first to show we can do something tangible (possibility to broadcast one of the talks of the academic session of INCTR 10th Anniversary Governing Council meeting scheduled to take place in March, 2010).
• Anil will put up a note and a proposal on the wiki about this
• Cedric will enquire about the possibility of hiring teleconference equipment with Belgacom
6. OERC Advisory Committee (Larry, Anil)
• Need to invite more members from developing countries
• Anil will try to get back in touch with Aaron Primack who may suggest members
• Anil will invite Judy Breck to attend our next conference call
• Larry will approach Esther Chang
• Start organize a web based Advisory Committee meeting in January
